Hey Parents,
This past sunday night we had a special guest speak on the topic of sex.
It was an amazing night where Pam Stenzel spoke with honesty and grace on a very important issue.
Here were a few quotes and follow up questions
“Opposites will attract in regard to personality. Opposites will never attract in regard to Character!”
– A great question would – what type of character are you looking for in your relationships?
“Love would never ask you to do what will damage you for the rest of your life. You do not have love without respect.”
– I would ask how shocking was the damage that sex can potential cost when not done in the right context (in a marriage relationship with only your partner)
- Thirdly, I would ask, how challenged were you about your view on sex? How were the stories eye opening?
One final thought at the end was Phillippian 4:13 – “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” I believe in the midst of culture, in the midst of pressure that you are able to fight for your freedom in regard to sex. Please consider the options and opportunities that you have! It’s your choice!
